Be a responsible tourist

When you planning a holiday or event, has the opportunity to make a positive impact in the places you visit. It can be a responsible tourist, no matter the style of trip you choose to attend socially and environmentally responsible businesses, you can ensure that your trip will contribute to the conservation of protected areas and the well-being of communities. Your choice makes a difference.

While you enjoy tours:

  • Respect the local environment: no throw trash, or cut flowers or wild plants; try to reuse the bottles of water and recycle where possible.
  • Protect local resources whenever you can: If a hotel has a policy to minimize the laundry towels and linens, try to support it. Remember to turn off lights and air conditioning when you exit the room. Try not wasted water when you are not using; try to use organic solar biodegradable, insect repellent and lock soaps.
  •  Respect the culture and traditions of the zone: sea aware and sensitive with cultural differences in language, customs and clothing. Request permission before taking a picture to someone.
